Surplus Vehicle Sale of a 2009 Morbark woodchipper, model M12R

May 14, 2026, MISSOULA RURAL FIRE DISTRICT – VEHICLE SURPLUS SALE, BOARD OF TRUSTEES RESOLUTION #:2026-3. Missoula Rural Fire District is accepting sealed auction bids to purchase a surplus wood chipper. Photos are available at mrfdfire.org/chipper. The surplus vehicle will be available for viewing by appointment at 6550 Hwy 10 West until 4:00 PM on Thrusday, June 4th, 2026. The surplus vehicle is a 2009 Morbark woodchipper, model M12R.

Bids Must be received by 5:00pm Mountain Standard Time, June 4th, 2026, in order to qualify. The minimum bid is $22,000.

Please submit sealed bids to: Missoula Rural Fire District, Attention: woodchipper, 2521 South Ave W, Missoula, MT 59804.

This surplus equipment will be sold in "as is" condition with no warranty expressed or implied by the Fire District. Bids will be opened at 5:01 PM on Thursday, June 4th, 2026, and the successful bidder will be contacted at the end of the sale day. Winning bidder will be responsible for pickup of the woodchipper.
