Missoula Rural Fire District is fortunate to
have a full-time resource manager (who's also a firefighter) with the talent and skills to keep the District's fleet of emergency vehicles and other hardware in a state of constant readiness and safety.

Fire equipment has a 200-hour-maintenance schedule.
This long-term, in-house approach allows us to give diligent attention to maintenance, repair, and replacement planning. It also allows us to better understand firefighter concerns and equipment needs, and enables us to return vital hardware more quickly to the units and at good cost.
